Cisco Webex pricing 2026.

The complete commercial reference for Webex Suite, Calling, Contact Center, Devices and AI Assistant. The published per-seat number is one cost line; telephony bundling, Contact Center sizing and Smart Account treatment account for 40–65% of the realised total. This note covers the plan tiers, the five-year TCO, and the six Enterprise Agreement levers that compress it.

Bottom line

Webex Suite lists at $25 per user, Calling adds $17 bundled, and Contact Center runs $110–$235 per agent. A 5,000-employee Suite-plus-Calling-plus-Contact-Center estate lands at $2.1M–$3.4M a year after typical Enterprise Agreement discounting — but the realised number is set by telephony bundling, Contact Center tier mix and Smart Account hygiene, not the list price.

01 Key findings

  1. List price is one cost line of many. Telephony bundling, Contact Center sizing and Cisco Smart Account treatment drive 40–65% of realised cost. Buyers who benchmark only the per-seat number miss where the money actually moves.

  2. Webex pricing is the most negotiable element of any Cisco contract. Realised prices land far below list — Suite Enterprise at $11–$17 against a $25 list, and Contact Center 40–55% below list on 200+ agent deployments.

  3. Contact Center holds the largest discount potential. It is the most competitive segment Cisco operates in — Genesys, Five9, NICE, Talkdesk and Amazon Connect all target it. A documented rival bid moves pricing 20–35% at renewal.

  4. The Enterprise Agreement, not standalone, is the right vehicle. The EA discount posture is materially better, but its True Forward mechanism only allows expansion, never reduction. Size the original commitment cautiously.

  5. AI Assistant is now bundled — retrofit later and you pay a premium. Bundled into Suite Enterprise since the 2025 refresh; adding it at year-three renewal instead costs 40–70% over original-contract pricing.

02 2026 pricing snapshot

Webex is sold through three commercial vehicles: standalone subscriptions, the Cisco Enterprise Agreement (EA) for Collaboration, and Cisco Plus (consumption-based). Most enterprise estates buy through the EA because the discount posture is materially better. The realised column reflects what buyers actually pay after EA negotiation across 40+ enterprise Webex estates — not the first-conversation quote.

SKUList price (per user / month)Typical realised after EA discount
Webex Suite (Meet + Messaging + Whiteboard)$25 (Enterprise tier)$11 to $17
Webex Meet (standalone)$13.50 (Business), $25 (Enterprise)$6 to $11
Webex Calling Professional$23 standalone, $17 with Suite$9 to $14
Webex Calling Standard$8 to $12 (PSTN included in some markets)$4 to $7
Webex Contact Center (Standard Agent)$110 to $145 per agent / month$55 to $85
Webex Contact Center (Premium Agent)$165 to $235 per agent / month$85 to $145
Webex AI Assistant$5 to $10 per user / month (add-on)$2 to $5 (bundled in EA)

03 Webex Suite tiers

Webex Suite is the bundled wrapper for Webex Meet (meetings), Webex App Messaging, Whiteboard, Polls and Webex Events. It sells in three tiers — Business, Enterprise and Enterprise Plus. Most enterprise estates buy at Enterprise, which covers the use-case mix for 80–90% of users.

Suite tierPer user / month listMeeting capacityCloud storageAI features
Webex Suite Business$13.50200 attendees10 GB per userBasic transcription
Webex Suite Enterprise$251,000 attendeesUnlimitedAI Assistant, summarisation, real-time translation
Webex Suite Enterprise Plus$303,000 attendeesUnlimited + DLP integrationFull AI + advanced analytics

Enterprise Plus matters for large-event delivery, high-compliance industries (government, healthcare) and DLP integration. The step up from Enterprise is modest, but most enterprises do not need the extra capability across the full user population — classifying by role is the first cost lever.

04 Webex Calling

Webex Calling is Cisco's cloud PBX, replacing on-prem Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM). It differs from Microsoft Teams Phone in two ways: Cisco bundles PSTN access in many regional packages, and Calling Standard is materially cheaper than Professional for users who only need basic telephony.

Calling tierPer user / month listIncludesPSTN treatment
Calling Standard$8 to $12Basic calling, voicemail, mobile soft clientDomestic PSTN bundled in some markets
Calling Professional$23 standalone, $17 with SuiteAdvanced calling, room device integration, full PSTNDomestic + international PSTN options

The bundle-and-add-on trap

Watch the sleeve, not the sticker. Calling Professional is $17 bundled with Suite but $23 standalone — a 35% penalty for buying it as a bolt-on. The same trap runs the other way on Meet: buy it standalone and you forfeit the Suite bundle discount that brings Suite Enterprise to roughly $17 effective. The bundled price only competes with Teams Phone plus a Calling Plan when the customer needs Cisco to supply PSTN; if you already have a carrier and just want cloud PBX, Teams Phone Direct Routing is usually cheaper. Price the whole bundle against the standalone stack before signing.

05 Contact Center pricing

Webex Contact Center (formerly Cisco Customer Journey Platform) is priced per concurrent agent per month. Tier and feature differentiation create the largest cost variability in the Cisco collaboration estate — and the largest discount potential.

Contact Center tierPer agent / month listChannels includedAI capabilities
Webex CC Standard Agent$110 to $145Voice, basic digitalNone native

Outbound Dialer$45 to $85 per agent / monthPredictive dialerOutreach AI
Highest-value lever

Anchor against a named competitor. A documented Genesys Cloud or Amazon Connect bid moves Webex Contact Center pricing 20–35% at renewal. The Contact Center sales team manages against named rivals and holds explicit discount authority for retention deals. Realised pricing on 200+ agent deployments routinely lands 40–55% below list — yet most procurement teams under-use this lever and overpay by 15–30%.

06 Devices and room kits

Webex Devices are sold as hardware plus subscription. Hardware ranges from desk phones ($300–$800) through video bars ($2,500–$7,500) to high-end room systems ($8,000–$25,000+). Subscription pricing follows the device tier and captures device management, AI camera capabilities and cloud-stored recordings.

Device categoryHardware list priceMonthly subscriptionNotes
Webex Desk Phone 9800 series$300 to $800$0 to $5 per device / monthSuccessor to 8800 series
Webex Desk Camera and Desk Pro$1,200 to $5,800$10 to $20 per device / monthPersonal collaboration devices
Webex Room Bar series$2,500 to $7,500$30 to $60 per device / monthSmall to medium meeting rooms
Webex Room Kit Pro and EQ$8,000 to $14,500$60 to $120 per device / monthLarge meeting rooms, board rooms
Cisco Board Pro G2$12,000 to $18,000$80 to $150 per device / monthInteractive collaboration boards

Device pricing in the EA typically discounts hardware 25–45% against list and bundles the subscription into per-user pricing rather than billing separately. The discipline is to negotiate device pricing inside the EA, not as separate operational-level purchases — worth 15–30% on device spend.

07 Enterprise Agreement & Smart Account

The Cisco Enterprise Agreement is the vehicle that produces the best Webex pricing. It has three components: a True Forward commitment (a minimum annual subscription value), a Growth Allowance (deploy additional users without immediate true-up), and a single billing relationship across Webex, Cisco DNA, Catalyst Center, Cisco Secure and other product families.

Cisco EAs typically run three years with a True Forward window in months 18–36. That window lets the customer expand commitment based on actual deployed usage — but never reduce it. The buyer-side rule is to size the original commitment cautiously and use True Forward for committed growth, not initial sizing.

Cisco Smart Account is the entitlement layer tracking software licences across the EA. Smart Account hygiene is the most common source of audit findings in Cisco estates — customers without an organised structure face audit exposure of 10–25% of licensed value, comparable to ILMT non-compliance in IBM. See our Cisco Smart Account guide for the operational detail, and the Cisco EA pricing guide for the cross-family framework.

08 AI Assistant pricing

Webex AI Assistant is bundled into Suite Enterprise tier as part of the 2025 price-list refresh. Standalone AI Assistant for Business tier or non-Suite customers prices at $5–$10 per user per month. It covers meeting summarisation, real-time translation, intelligent recap, action-item extraction and integration with Webex App messaging.

Webex AI Assistant for Contact Center is priced separately at $20–$35 per agent per month on top of the agent licence, adding conversational AI, agent assist, real-time sentiment and automated post-call summarisation. The meeting capabilities are competitive with Microsoft Teams Copilot and Zoom AI Companion; the Contact Center bundle with Genesys AI and the broader category. Test against the specific workload, not the marketing capability list.

09 Five-year TCO at scale

The honest five-year picture for a 5,000-user enterprise running Webex Suite Enterprise, Webex Calling Professional and a 200-agent Contact Center Premium deployment, modelled at typical EA discounting:

ComponentYear 1Year 3Year 5
Webex Suite Enterprise (5,000 users)$1.02M (at $17 effective)$1.14M$1.27M
Webex Calling Professional (5,000 users)$540K (at $9 effective)$600K$668K
Webex Contact Center Premium (200 agents)$240K (at $100 effective)$268K$300K
Webex AI Assistant (bundled)IncludedIncludedIncluded
Device subscription (250 rooms, 1,000 desk units)$300K$330K$365K
One-off hardware and implementation$1.4M to $2.2M (year 1 only)n/an/a
Annual total (steady-state)$3.5M to $4.3M$2.34M$2.6M

Five-year cumulative TCO at typical EA pricing lands at $13.5M–$16M. The comparable competitive stacks for the same user mix:

Cisco Webex
$13.5–16M
Microsoft Teams
$11–14M
Zoom Workplace
$10–13M
Note

Comparable Microsoft Teams Phone with Premium plus Dynamics 365 Contact Center for the same mix lands at $11M–$14M. The Webex premium pays back when device estate and Contact Center sophistication are decisive — and not otherwise.

10 Webex vs Teams and Zoom

The three-way comparison is the most common collaboration decision in 2026, and it rarely turns on raw capability. It turns on three factors: existing vendor footprint, Contact Center strategy, and AI roadmap fit.

Webex
Cisco estate leader
Best for: existing Cisco device estates, sophisticated Contact Center needs, and regulated industries.
Strengths
  • Deepest Contact Center and telephony stack
  • Strong compliance track record (finance, healthcare, government)
  • Most negotiable pricing of any Cisco line
Limitations
  • Highest headline five-year TCO of the three
  • Weaker where no Cisco device estate exists
  • True Forward only expands, never reduces
Microsoft Teams
M365 ecosystem
Best for: Microsoft 365-committed enterprises where Teams is already in the licensing.
Strengths
  • Teams integration effectively free in existing M365
  • Direct Routing cheaper when carrier is already in place
  • Lowest incremental cost for messaging-first estates
Limitations
  • Contact Center depth trails Webex
  • Premium and Dynamics add-ons stack up
  • Telephony bundling less flexible per region
Zoom
Meeting-native culture
Best for: organisations that prioritise meeting quality and user experience over telephony depth.
Strengths
  • Lowest five-year TCO for the same user mix
  • Strongest end-user experience and adoption
  • Fast-improving AI Companion
Limitations
  • Contact Center and telephony less mature
  • Weaker fit for Cisco-committed device estates
  • Less enterprise compliance heritage

11 Buy framework

Four levers determine realised Webex cost. Weight them to your estate before signing, and pull them in this order at renewal.

Lever 01

Tier reclassification

Move 10–25% of users from Suite Enterprise to Business, 15–30% of Calling seats to Standard, and 20–40% of agents from Premium to Standard where usage supports it.

Lever 02

Contact Center separation

Negotiate Contact Center on its own commercial track with named-competitor anchoring. Separating it creates 18–32% more discount room than bundling it into the broader EA.

Lever 03

True Forward sizing

Size the commitment to 95–105% of actual usage and use True Forward for growth. Over-committing to 110–130% of usage loses 10–18% of TCV to unusable capacity.

Lever 04

Device & AI bundling

Fold device hardware into the EA discount, and negotiate AI Assistant inclusion at original signing — retrofitting it at year three costs 40–70% more.

12 Our recommendation

Buy the EA
Not standalone

The EA discount posture beats standalone materially. Size the original commitment to realised usage plus a modest allowance, and reserve the True Forward window for genuine, committed growth.

Split Contact Center
Anchor on rivals

Pull Contact Center into its own negotiation track and bring a documented Genesys or Amazon Connect bid. It holds the deepest discount potential in the whole estate — 40–55% below list is achievable.

Engage early
12+ months out

Audit Smart Account hygiene, reconcile deployed against contracted seats, retire orphaned device subscriptions, and build the competitive file. Buyers who hold renewal flat or negative engage 12+ months ahead.

Stop paying Webex list price

Independent reviews identify a median $1.6M in five-year savings through right-sized commitment, Contact Center renegotiation and device-bundle restructuring.
